Abby Losos

Abby Losos is a second-year Doctoral student at Texas Christian Univ. studying a DMA in Flute Performance under Dr. Shauna Thompson. She received her MM in Flute Performance from Texas Christian Univ. and BM in Music Education and Flute Performance from Texas Tech Univ. under Dr. Lisa Garner-Santa. Abby has competed and advanced as a semifinalist in the Colorado Young Artist competition, quarterfinalist in the National Flute Association competition, semifinalist in the Myrna Brown competition, and the winner of the Oklahoma Young Arist competition. Aside from performing, Abby has been a long-time private teacher in the Lubbock and DFW area for 8 years teaching all ages of flutists from 6th grade through adults.
