Dr. Ellen Caner

Dr Ellen Kaner has been a free-lance woodwind teacher and performer in the DFW area for 3 decades. She currently teaches in the Mansfield, Grand Prairie and Red Oak school districts. Her performing experience includes over 100 musical productions.

Dr Kaner currently serves on the Boards of the Texas Flute Society, the Floot Fire Camp, and the Oak Lawn Band. In August 2022, she will be receiving the National Flute Association’s Golden Anniversary Award.
